I was charged a $50 deposit & emailed a transaction receipt. I cancelled the job at 1:30pm 10th July (1/2 hour before the truck was due onsite) & was asked to pay the full 2 hours work cost of $200. I refused to pay this outrageous fee. There was no mention of any cancellation fee made to me by phone or by email. If there was, I would not have engaged this company. I agreed to pay a total of $100 as a settlement, gave my credit card details, & was charged an extra $100 instead of $50. I only agreed to a total of $100, not a total fee of $150 (including the deposit). They have illegally charged my credit card. I did not authorise a $100 credit charge. I have made official complaints to NSW Fair Trade & the ACCC.
